From the moment we walked into Mumtaz Indian Haute Cuisine, the staff made us feel welcome. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive but not overwhelming. The restaurant has a great ambiance, making it perfect for a relaxing meal. The Indian restaurant reviews Swansea don’t lie—this place is truly special. We ordered the korma Swansea and papadum Swansea, and both were spot on. A great choice for anyone looking for fine dining Indian restaurants Swansea with top-tier service!

We were a large party of 21 guests who visited The Mumtaz to kick start our wedding celebrations with family and friends who had travelled to spend the weekend with us. The service, food and atmosphere was absolutely incredible! We’ve dined several times at this restaurant over the years and have never been disappointed. The coconut dip that is served with the poppadaums is delicious and it’s worth a visit for that alone! Thank you so much, we look forward to visiting again soon.

Had a lovely meal with great service. It was pretty quiet but it was only 6 30 but a group of lads came in and livened it up but were not boisterous or too loud. Would go again next time in Mumbles.

An early pre concert meal. Great staff and food. We shared three vegetarian side dishes, rice and chapatis. All excellent. Really good chutneys too. All at a very reasonable cost. We’ll be back!

Visiting Mumbles and got tipped for Muntaz. Wasn't very busy @ 18.30 on a Thursday yet, we were treated superbly. Food was fantastic. Not oily and a nice balance of flavour and heat. Highly recommend

Nice cosy Indo- Bangla restaurant. Opposite to The Dairy car park ( pay and display). There is also a longstay car park behind the restaurant, also pay and display. Littel busy on sat night. Food was tasty, particularly the Lamb curry with Garlic naan. Mixed grill was good, not great. Little delay in service as it was busy,but they made it up with soft drinks on the house. Big thumbs up

Don’t wait, go now! I’ve had a lot of Indian food in my life, and these guys really gave me something to enjoy! Every bite was filled with pleasure, from the perfect naan to amazing mains. Staff was friendly and helpful, too!

This place never disappoints! The service is top-notch, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you receive. We enjoyed the crispy poppadoms with chutneys, and the naan was perfectly fluffy. The korma was rich and creamy—a must-try!
